This company, located in Indianapolis, IN, manufactures parts for automotive, defense, and medical industries serving some of the big names in business such as CAT, Honeywell, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, and many more. Their commitment to customer service and producing high quality parts is a testament to their reputation in the industry allowing them to expansion by the end of the year by bringing in 2 or more machines.
The Quality Control Technician will ensure the integrity of raw materials as well as final parts. This role will have opportunity for growth by being more involved with the programing of CMM machines with paths to a Quality Leader for the right candidate.
This is a 1st shift position with a 7 AM or 8 AM start time. Overtime is rare as the goal is a strong work life balance.

Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of precision components and assemblies
- Perform first piece inspection of components
- Inspect raw materials upon arrival to plant
- Maintain gauges and inspection area
- Maintain quality reports and files
Qualifications
- 3 years working in inspection department
- CMM and Keyence Vision System programming experience (or similar, PCDMIS)
- Use of measuring instruments and gauges
- Knowledge of ERP software is a plus
- Ablity to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
