Located in Perrysburg, Ohio, this company serves a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, gas & oil, wind energy and many more! Since 1974, their team is dedicated to providing quality products while maintaining a priority to serve clients. Being precise the first time to ensure accuracy and on time delivery have built their reputation within the business. Their 60 person and 50 machine shop specialize in a wide range of machines including 3-5 axis mill, turning center, VTL, grinder, and more.

Due to companywide growth (and plans to purchase more machines before the end of the year), they are looking for a dedicated machinist/programmer with a passion for learning and progressing their career. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skill set by following products from cradle to grave on a myriad of sophisticated machinery. In this role, you can expect to be hands on programming and set up while cross training on different machines.

This is a 1st shift position from 6 – 2:30 PM offering overtime if desired (the goal is to maintain a strong work/life balance).

Responsibilities

  • Perform programming of parts on different machines using MasterCAM
  • Perform set up and operation of parts
  • First article inspections

Qualifications

  • Must have strong CAD/CAM programming skills (MasterCAM a plus!)
  • 2 years of setup and operating knowledge of various Mori, Doosan, Toyoda and other machines
  • Experience with tight tolerances 
  • GT&T 
  • Use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
