Marketing Coordinator - Position Description

We are expanding rapidly and looking for an energetic, positive, and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

Position Objective:

The Marketing Coordinator will assist management and sales team with day-to-day marketing support activities. A major focus of this job will be coordinating events, planning sales meetings, sales CRM, metrics and reporting, interfacing with our partners, vendors, and clients – but will also include support in terms of design, copy editing, website, social media, implementing company daily marketing initiatives etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to and works closely with management, sales and outside marketing agency to serve the marketing needs of a rapidly growing technology firm
  • Day to day handling of administrative details of marketing efforts, including interface and coordination of deliverables for management, partners, architects and interior designers
  • Event Coordination at showrooms and partner locations
  • Assistance with execution of account-related marketing and PR work
  • Active participation in website updates, social media, social interaction & social response
  • Position requires some regional travel
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics departments; inventorying stock; placing orders
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, meeting schedule/coordination, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelors degree (ideally, in related field) preferred
  • Marketing copy writing and editing experience
  • Basic design layout skills
  • Adept at using a PC/Mac and relevant design software
  • Excellent people skills, flexible personality open to input from clients and co-workers
  • Strong work ethic and self motivated to pitch in as needed
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous and various deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Project Management, Reporting research results, Understanding the customer

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as a dynamic, professional and entrepreneurial work environment. Benefits include health insurance Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, generous paid vacation, sick days and holidays (PTO) and Profit Share plan. Salary is commensurate on experience and skill set.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
