Responsibilities

Provides engineering support to the Machine Tool Operation in the form of design support, engineering drawings, CNC programming, and general technical assistance. Oversees Machine Tool and Plant Support projects from Inception to Completion. Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Create drawings and models of existing undocumented parts.
• Creates CNC programs for machining parts on in house CNC machining equipment.
• Documents equipment design modifications.
• Designs and details new manufacturing equipment as directed.
• Provides project management services for new equipment build projects and existing equipment rebuild projects.
• Works with other engineering disciplines and manufacturing personnel to optimize effectiveness of design efforts.
• Learns and understands fundamental aspects of ADS manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Uses bills of materials on assembly and subassembly drawings to create detailed and accurate purchase order requests for MTO projects.

• This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Technical Project Management Experience
• 3D Modeling Software Experience (Preferably AutoCAD Inventor)
• CNC Machining Software Experience
• Microsoft Office Software Capability
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Strong Written and Oral Communication skills 
• General Knowledge of Machining & Fabrication
• Easily adapt to changes in priorities while maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Technical/Engineering Related Field of Study 

 Preferred Experience:

• 4 Years Minimum 

 Physical Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver’s license.Ability to Travel to Outlying Plant Locations on Occasional Basis (10% - 20% Average)
