Advanced Dermatology is seeking a hardworking, professional, dedicated Surgical Technologist/1st Assist for private facility operating room.

This position is Per Diem.

In this role you will prepare for surgical cases and assist surgeon in the operating room from start to completion.

Maintain the sterile field in the OR and put the safety, welfare, and comfort of the patient first.

Make every case run efficiently and help contribute to a positive surgical experience for the patient.

You will also:

• Prepare instruments, equipment, and to assist in a manner that maximizes the efficiency of the operation.
• Learn the exact sequence ("surgical dance") of steps involved in every surgery performed, anticipate surgeon's needs, and provide surgeon with the instruments and proper assistance to help optimize the surgical outcome.
• Clean and stock OR; clean and sterilize instruments.
• Set up the operating room; organize sterile table with surgical instruments and equipment, sterile linens, and sterile solutions.

Preferred Experience & Education:

• At least 1 year of OR experience
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Experience in Plastic Surgery
