Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: 

This position works a split shift during the day, 6:30a-10a then 3p-6p. Full-time and part-time available!

  • Demonstrate skills in medical procedures, such as trach care (suctioning, changes, monitoring, etc.) and ventilator monitoring
  • Assist and monitor meal preparation and feedings, including tube feedings
  • Monitor environment for safety and wellness of the patients
  • Able to recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
  • Maintain patient confidentiality as specified in HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of center, including maintaining equipment and supplies, paperwork, and infection control
  • Promote a positive environment for the development of children through a positive and caring attitude

Qualifications

License/ Certification:

  • Current Florida EMT Licensure (minimum 6 months experience).
  • CPR and BLS
  • At least 1 year of pediatrics experience (preferred) but willing to train as an EMT intern.
