The Opportunity
As a data scientist within the Creative Cloud Experience and Engagement organization, you will be a core part of the data science and analytics team, driving analytics-based insights that enable engaging experiences for our Creative Cloud customers, and bring users to experience core product value quickly across the Creative Cloud business.
We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about deriving impactful customer insights from large datasets, through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong analytical and technical skills, along with the ability to work with multi-functional teams, and the curiosity and ability to influence data-driven decision making by key partners.
What you'll Do
Drive analytics for user revenue/engagement growth programs and A/b tests through analyzing results and communicating insights.
Partner with product managers to understand product/customer behavior and features, and use insights generated to make recommendations to improve customer experience and engagement.
Be a specialist of stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy data across various data sources.
Support regular ad-hoc data and analysis needs to better understand customer behavior.
Build reporting frameworks / resources that enable partners to self-serve information.
Partner with teams including product analytics, Go-To-Market and Campaign.
What you need to succeed
Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or a Bachelor's degree in a similar field with relevant practical experience
Strong skills in a data science/analytics role with a proven track record of success
Experience in hypothesis testing and A/b test analytics
Expertise in working with large data sets using Hive/SQL
Hands-on experience working with Hadoop. Bonus points for prior experience working on any Cloud Platform eg Databricks.
Expertise in developing sophisticated reports/dashboards using Tableau
Good attention to detail and ability to stitch and QA multiple data sources.
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to synthesize large scale data sets to generate a clear story and impactful insights
A curious mind, passion, and motivation to learn new skills, tools, and analytics techniques critical to tackle business challenges.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
