Bachmans was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Bachmans operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, a shop in the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. Additionally, Bachmans operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachmans today.

Duties:

* Sell patio furniture, grills, statuary, fountains and accessories.

* Engage with customers within the outdoor living area.

* Work directly on the sales floor: assisting customers, answering phones and using registers.

* Process all store transactions according to established procedures.

* Ensure that the outdoor living space is merchandised and maintained according to visual guidelines.

* Interact with customers and build relationships.

* Provide a high level of service and product expertise to customers.

* Accurately complete all customer transactions, receiving and transferring product.

Qualifications:

* Ability to stand the entire shift.

* Good customer service skills, people friendly, responsible and dependable required.

* Ability to read, write, calculate basic math and perform basic computer skills is a must.

* High energy level.

* Able to work in a team environment.

* Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.

* Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending

* Able to work in a range of conditions- can be very hot in outdoor living area.

* Experience with patio furniture/ grills a plus but not a requirement.
