Hard copy records management progress is measured in the number of files categorized for disposition, disposed of, and/or categorized and uploaded to automated information systems. During the first week of work being performed for this contract, the Adeptus employee is expected to understand the work to be performed, the general systems and automated information used for categorizing and uploading files. Progress will be measured based on the employee's understanding of these process and systems, the work itself, and that initial files categorized for disposition or disposed of are done with limited errors.

It is expected in the weeks following the employee will be knowledgeable in the “hard-copy” records work. Progress will be measured in the number of filing cabinets and/or boxes cleared/emptied of hard-copy records, number of records allocated for disposition, disposed of and/or prepared for digitalization and uploaded to automated information systems if needed. It is expected that at the end of the first 180-days, all “hard-copy” records will have been allocated for some form of disposition, and/or disposed of when shredding is the recommended action.

In addition, depending on the number of records identified as requiring digitalization and entry into automated information systems, the expectation is that this process will have begun, or been completed if few records were identified for digitalization. If the following 180-day option is to be awarded, the expectation is that all remaining “hard-copy” digitalization work will be completed during this phase.

This position requires regular travel to Fairbanks, Alaska.

Qualifications:

This position requires some experience with capability of handling large scope of moderate complexity of data entry. Requires critical thinking, communication (verbal/written), problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Requires a minimum 2 years of experience in clerical work with some technical training or the equivalent.
