Adept Marketing is Hiring an Account Executive Near Columbus, OH

We are looking for an experienced brand marketer that is both strategically minded as well as execution oriented. This individual will help drive growth through the development of our brand and go to market position, as well as the implementation and management of high impact, lead generation activities. The successful candidate will need strong subject matter expertise in brand and corporate marketing and the B2B market.

Who you are

The Account Executive is responsible for client relationship (of assigned accounts), project management and coordination of team tasks and deliverables as directed.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and build an ongoing relationship with client, providing value as a source of information relative to their digital strategy, brand objectives and business needs
  • Management and coordination of team tasks/deliverables
  • Support the Account Lead on assigned shared accounts (when appropriate) with accurate, timely, detail-oriented work

 Key Responsibilities Include

  • Primary point of contact on assigned accounts, and be secondary point of contact for key accounts managed by Account lead and ensure timely client response as needed
  • Ongoing management of agreed upon services
  • Partners consistently with Program Manager and Account Lead to manage changes to project parameters that may affect timing, cost or workload
  • Continuously works to stay current with industry and client information and expand knowledge of digital marketing 
  • Review client digital performance, collaborate with assign team members to monitor performance of account
  • Prepare agenda and presentation for client meetings and review findings with client (with support from team)
  • Manage budgetary needs of the client, review monthly invoices and manage profitability of accounts in partnership with Program Manager and CE Lead
  • Taking effective notes from meetings capturing all key information, decisions and action items and communicate to client
  • Relays client-requested changes to internal stakeholders, serving as point of contact gathering additional feedback or guidance from client 
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, effectively executing multiple project streams in parallel
  • Ensures all deliverables meet Adept standards for quality and excellence 
  • Ability to work with within a multi-functional team, collaborating with internal stakeholders with a focus on proactive problem solving 
  • Prepare presentations for clients
  • Coordinate task assignments, project management via internal tool and ensure accuracy of data and adherence to process
  • Complete all support activities as assigned by the Account Lead
  • Be secondary point of contact for key accounts managed by Account lead and ensure timely client response as needed
  • Assists Account Lead in writing project scopes and orchestrating pre-kickoff meetings and initiation of new client requests

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of agency experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent oral and non-verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve
