Addition Financial is Hiring a Senior Systems Analyst (IT) Near Lake, FL

Description

Under limited supervision the Senior Systems Analyst provides leadership and support for all Critical Core Applications. In addition, determining internal and external customer requirements, architecture and systems design, knowledge of advanced Power-On programming and implementation. Performs systems analyst activities and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Institution Application oversight and configuration management of Episys Credit Union systems.
  • Advanced Support of Critical Core Applications: OpCon, Synapsys, Synergy, Image Center, Symconnect, SymXchange, ELA, Meridian and ARCU
  • Ability to create and support complex SQL reports and perform analysis
  • Understanding of LAN/ WAN network environment
  • Understanding of Active Directory management
  • Ability to support IBM /UNIX
  • Install and test new software releases, patches and system upgrades.
  • Responsible for assembling/managing small to medium size project teams.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of Software/Hardware configurations and support resolution.
  • Maintain Vendor contacts and relationships.
  • Advanced ability to use Power-On programming for systems patches, upgrades, conversions
  • Provide Tier 3 support for hardware and software within the Addition Financial Environment. Resolve support requests as required or escalate to appropriate vendor or internal IT staff and follow up to ensure timely resolution of the issue.
  • Create and maintain documentation of Software configurations and support issue resolution.
  • Consistently meet assigned project deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to work On Call or provide After-Hours support in order to install, upgrade, or resolve issues with critical Software and/or Systems.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
  • Create accurate and timely reports from Credit Union systems, ensuring data validity.
  • Acquires and maintains an in-depth understanding of the technical and functional architecture of assigned systems and integration.
  • Collaborate with business units, vendors and technical staff to achieve business results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Performs such other duties as might be assigned.

Requirements

Requires at least 5-7 years previous as a Systems Analyst and/or Critical Core Applications along with strong PC skills in Excel, Access, SQL. Previous experience within a large financial institution helpful large data center experience desired. A four year degree is desired with emphasis in information technology, application design, and development or equivalent job experience. Must have experience with Jack Henry (JHA) core systems suite of products - Episys, Synapsys, Synergy, etc.
