As the HR Manager here at Addgene, you will help to define and manage the Addgenie experience. As the HR Manager you will take on a wide variety of responsibilities such as organizational design, employee experience, on/offboarding, benefits, compensation, recruiting, professional development, and compliance. You will manage our People Operations team (Specialist & Coordinator). You will also work collaboratively with our Sr. Director of HR to develop and implement programs that will create an environment of trust, inclusion, and engagement across Addgene. |

LOCATION & POLICY ON REMOTE WORK | This position will work out of our Watertown, Massachusetts Headquarters with an opportunity to work hybrid. Our beautiful office space has ample parking with a free shuttle from Harvard Square and is on multiple bus lines, with the cost of public transit covered by Addgene. Addgene's Covid-19 Safety Measures At this time, all employees of Addgene are required to have been fully vaccinated (two weeks out from second dose) in order to enter our office space. |

In joining our team as an “Addgenie”, you will work with multidisciplinary internal teams to help fulfill this mission, including scientists, software engineers and product developers, renowned customer support teams, marketing gurus, and business development professionals. Together, Addgenies create and enhance opportunities for research scientists to deposit their materials, find products and resources easily on our website, and receive unparalleled support in receiving and expertly using our materials in their own experiments.
Addgene is a small non-profit of just over 100 employees with multiple team leads and people managers, and is now poised to grow and enhance its centralized HR function to remain a true “best place to work”.The HR Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of HR, manage a small team, and collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to provide the best possible employee experience to all Addgenies.
