Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting AdaptHealth’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), internet segments and related network systems. Monitor network to ensure high availability to all system users, perform necessary preventative and reactive maintenance to support network availability. Monitor and test website connectivity and performance to ensure efficient operation without interruption. Assist in network design, modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications suppliers, and cloud vendors. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

· Provide technical support to end-users answering user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

· Assist with configuring, updating, and maintaining the LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure as well as associated system configuration documentation.

· Work with the architecture team to proactively create and secure IDS, IPS, and firewall rules

· Utilize monitoring tools and applications used for problem detection and resolution on site and remotely

· Perform advanced troubleshooting and remediation

· Ensure the efficient and effective operation of data and telephone communication systems

· Ensure integration and interoperability with Azure Active Directory and related security platforms and tools

· Ensure remote access utility is consistently deployed throughout the environment and deployed effectively during M/A activities

· Assist with assessing and resolving risk associated with new systems and applications as related to network performance

· Work with vendors and service providers to resolve outages and other technical problems

· Monitor support queues and resolve outstanding work orders and break fix requests

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, cloud or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary

· Installs, configures, and supports end user equipment remotely with 3rd party support

· Maintain confidentiality of all investigations, projects, patient confidentiality, and function within HIPAA guidelines

· Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required

· Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Competency, Skills and Abilities:

· Demonstrated hands on knowledge of cloud connectivity

· Day to day knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and LAN

· Operational experience of firewall, IDS, IPS

· Computer experience and expertise with Azure virtual and Windows operating system/networks.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problems solving skills with attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Self-disciplined to work alone and with groups to follow projects through to completion

· Ability to take initiative to improve processes

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree from two-year college preferred.

· Two years of work-related experience

· Network and cloud related experience is required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.

· Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods

· Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use

· Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Must possess mental alertness to make quick decisions and interpret complex information

· Physical and mental ability to analyze data and conduct research.

· Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

· Mental alertness to perform the essential functions of position.

· Other duties outside of normal business hours as needed.

· May be required to move or relocate computer equipment

· May be required to work at various locations

· Travel as needed

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
