AdaptHealth is a respiratory medical equipment company seeking an energetic, hard working, organized Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse for a full time sales & marketing position specializing in Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation. This is an outside sales position in the field calling on physicians and hospitals. Territory covered will be Kalamazoo, MN to Fort Wayne, IN.

The ideal candidate for this multi-tasking sales & marketing position shall demonstrate strong communication skills, strong work ethic, professionalism, and computer proficiency. Must be able to work in a dynamic fast paced work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in field marketing and calling on medical facilities, physicians, and staff is a plus
• Oxygen, PAP, NIV & DME equipment knowledge is required
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with NIV experience and knowledge
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
• Occasional overnight travel for sales training and sales meetings
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong oral communication skills and time management skills
• Ability to read medical records and effectively manage documentation
• Be knowledgeable of and responsible for the current AdaptHealth policies and procedures that apply to this position.
• Identifies, contacts, and builds relationships with referral sources.
• Maintain existing relationships
• Maintains regular contact with referral sources with information regarding guideline changes, products, and services.
• Helps answers questions for referral sources.
• Develops and maintains working knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility, and reimbursement for patients.
• Responsible for growth of the patient base.
• Responsible for increasing revenue.
• Assist AdaptHealth in meeting its growth and financial goals.
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a 2 or 4 year accredited respiratory therapy program or Nursing program..
• Must have current CRT or RRT licensure. State licensure as required.
• Strong command of the English language. Legible handwriting. Must be able to operate a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Good personal hygiene and appearance. Must be able to work independently. Must be kind and empathetic with patients. Must be able to organize duties and follow up. Must be detail-oriented and be able to respond appropriately to disruptions in routine. Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately.

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. 

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. 

Must be able to handle stressful situations for short periods of time.
