As a Technical Project Manager, you will Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. You will maintain the client relationship and ensure the success of the project. 

Position Requirements and Duties 

  • Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specificprojects or initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
  • Report project/task progress to senior leadership and escalate issues when necessary. 
  • Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports. 
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to all Quality Assurance procedures and evaluate all client issues and comments.
  • Conduct project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Ensure projects/task meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation plans.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project/task documentation.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer or Information Science related field or equivalent years of directly relevant experience. 
  • Minimum three years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality. 
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner

Certifications 

  • IAT II and CSSP Compliant certifications
