Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Sous Chef position.

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Executive Chef and/or Chef Manager in meal preparation while following the standardized recipes and established food handling, preparation and meal service time schedules and standards. You will be in charge of the day-to-day operations and supervise the food production and sanitation staff. Collaborates in the menu planning process with culinary management team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of four years of progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, healthcare, catering, hotel, or cruise line environment
• ServSafe certified or pursuing certification is preferred
