Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to assess software quality, primarily through automated testing. As a QA Automation Engineer at ActiveProspect, you must have excellent coding, organizational, and communication skills. Critical thinking and problem solving abilities are a must, as well as skilled execution of test cases and a passion for quality.

Work as part of the cross-functional TrustedForm team, where every member has a say in the direction of our products, team, and culture. We're looking for the kind of engineer who notices every detail, but doesn't lose sight of the big picture.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build the automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles
• Own the development and execution of automated tests for our TrustedForm application
• Develop and maintain testing strategies, metrics, reporting, and processes
• Design and create test plans and test cases from user stories
• Triage and debug issues
• Advocate for quality best practices

To succeed in this role you'll need: 

• 2 year writing test automation scripts
• 3 years writing test plans, executing test cases and reporting test results
• Experience with JavaScript 
• Strong hands-on experience with automation of APIs using automation frameworks
• Experience building end-to-end testing using Puppeteer, Jest or webdriverio
• Experience implementing test automation in CI/CD pipeline to improve QA efficiency and seamless integration of automation testing using GitHub Action or similar tools
• Expert with non relational or document-oriented databases (MongoDB)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills

Bonus points for experience/and or interest in: 

• Experience with Postman, Rest, cypress or selenium
• Experience with load, performance, and/or security testing
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies in an agile environment
