When talking about devops – think of a pipeline, features and getting built and deployed, that Pipeline is what a system integrator does. Some portions are done by hand in an automated way.

Working on linux based systems, troubleshoot network outages, identify problems, repair, install newly developed software, some level of installation for acceptance testing, run cyber security scans and support installation of test/ test networks (3 different test networks that need administration).

Working with security batches that come out daily – maintain existing systems, develop automation, simplify and make deployment more reliable, scripting, automation, hands on maintenance to keep up to date. The suite of servers (16) interaction is pretty complicated, takes time to understand how components operate, learn systems, responding to issues that pop up, troubleshoot and get functioning again. Improve infrastructure code, procedures, do tasks more quickly and reliably.
