Job Title: Stability Lab Tech / Cosmetics

Job Description

We are seeking a Stability Lab Tech specialized in Cosmetics. The successful candidate will support Research & Development and Production functions to ensure optimal product stability throughout its lifecycle. This role involves managing the physical product stability, tracking, monitoring, recording, and updating internal stakeholders on all physical product stability testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining stability data, tracking new products and R&D programs, assisting with lab cleanliness and organization, and performing routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments. The ability to multitask multiple projects to meet deadlines is crucial for this role.

Hard Skills

• Support Research & Development and Production functions
• Knowledge of industry protocol for physical property testing parameters
• Physical product stability management
• Maintain tracking for new products and R&D programs
• Assist lab department with cleaning, disinfection, and lab organization
• Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments
• Proficient in Excel

• Good communication skills for updating internal stakeholders

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CHATSWORTH, California.

Work Environment

Our lab is located in a small cosmetic manufacturing company in Chatsworth, CA. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. We offer a degree of flexibility, allowing the workday to start as early as 7 AM or as late as 9 AM depending on individual needs. Some overtime may be required.
