Additional Skills & Qualifications-
- 2-5 years of experience in relay systems is required open to candidates with an engineering degree, but it is not required. Experience is a MUST, and it will override a degree
- Must have knowledge of relay testing on systems - past utility experience is not required, but preferred must be experienced with substations and micro-process relay systems. Degree helps bc they have different methodology to troubleshoot

Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Work Environment- Will be spending 90% of their time in the field testing - there are ~150 substations in the territory, and this group plans to complete 10% of these/year per the NRC deadlines they've been given. They must complete all protective testing by 2035.
- Geographical service area covers Gulfport, Laurel, Hattiesburg, and Meridian
- 10% of a candidate's time will be spent in the office, organizing data and working on the computer
- Office is located in Gulfport, Mississippi
- Will be working on a team of 6 existing field services engineers and 4 controls techs - have more work than they can handle in next 5-10 years - do work as a team but if this person has sufficient knowledge will train newer people but will be working solo day in and day out
Hours
- 4 10s OR 5 10s when necessary
- 7AM-5:30 PM but flexible except when working with crews
