Description:

The manufacturing engineer will be driving lean manufacturing initiatives throughout the manufacturing floor to ensure efficient production and production goals are met.

- Work with Mechanical engineers to ensure any design changes needed to manufacturing are done correctly

- Complete time studies to verify efficiency of manufacturing and identify areas of improvement

- Work with operators & supervisors to detect areas for improvement

- Participate in meetings for daily production, monthly KPI meetings, and ECN (Engineering Change Notices) meetings

- Lead line and process start ups

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience with JD Edwards (ERP system)

- Experience and ability to do time studies and verify manufacturing

- Familiarity with lean processing (batch processing will not be as relevant)

- 4 year engineering degreed preferred, but not necessary if experience is relevant
