Description:
- Assist clients troubleshooting equipment via phone, email, and virtual
- Perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of weighing equipment and check weighing machinery
- Perform upgrades and tests on products according to ECN's or test procedures
- Proficiency in technical customer support and communication skills are a must
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude
- Ability to work from schematics, test procedures, and verbal instructions
- Ability to use large and small tools and testing equipment including multimeters
- Drive process improvement within the Repair and Technical Support group
- Perform on-site and remote product training to sales personnel, partners, and customers
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of technical or field service experience installing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic industrial weighing instrumentation
- Associates, Electronics/Electrical technical training
- Experience in promoting or selling products is a plus
- RS Logix/Studio ladder logic programming a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
- Weighing and scale experience is highly desirable
