Description:

We are growing our Phoenix office. Very exciting opportunity for someone looking for leadership and growth with a developing firm working on high-profile restaurant and commercial projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to project close-out

• Manage project teams including Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, Site Superintendents and Subcontractors

• Maximize team effectiveness to ensure targets, timelines and objectives are met

• Manage budgets, job financial performance, change orders, negotiate subcontracts and initiate financial draws to clients

• Create, manage, execute and expedite construction schedules

• Manage quality of subcontractors to ensure that schedule, scope, response and cost are consistent with company expectations

• Monitor performance standards guaranteeing jobsite safety

• Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, team members and vendors

• Communicate progress of construction activities with Client frequently

• Working experience with Procore, CMiC, Sage or equivalent project management software

Projects - Tempe, Buckeye, Mesa.

Average project size is $2-10million

Anywhere from 16-24 weeks typical turnaround on project

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent

10 years of restaurant building or hospitality experience

Construction or building experience

Commercial/TI and/or medical offices also good experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong leadership skills

Problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A highly motivated, self-starter

OSHA certification
