Exciting opportunity with a high end and high design architecture and design firm in Dumbo, Brooklyn that is looking for a Project Architect to run a ground-up multifamily project. This small sized firm works on large scale 23 story high rises throughout NYC and the U.S!

Description:

We are looking for an Architect to lead a team on large scale multifamily projects. You will be working in AutoCAD and SketchUp on the interior architecture aspect of the project. This will be a client facing role with a lot of independence. The position will impact a variety of geographic markets across the US.

Schedule:

5 days in office

Quarterly travel for site visit

Work Environment:

This office has a laid back vibe. In the heart of Dumbo, it's a small office with drafting tables and open work spaces to promote a collaborative work environment.

Work with large scale developers, nationwide, exposure to different markets.

50% projects local to NYC.

Opportunity to make an imprint and apply design to geographic locations that don’t have high level design (ex

Tampa,).

Fast paced, organized team, good design and a lot of independence.

Will be able to come in and take control of the project, have a lot of responsibility.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Architecture

-6 to 10 years of experience of interior design with residential experience.

-Must be able to lead junior staff

- Must have an understanding of architecture and interior design, be able to create CDs and detail custom millwork, furniture, elevations, fixture specifications.

-Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
