We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. The Senior Systems Administrator will assist and support the installation, operation, maintenance of all current and future Information Systems. Duties and responsibilities involve the support and administration of Windows servers, Windows workstations, Terminal servers, File & Print servers, organization folders as well as system documentation, analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal Information System performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engineering, documenting, delivering and maintaining the platforms listed above in accordance with customer specifications and security guidelines
• Diagnosing and resolving the toughest performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above
• Writing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to accomplish repetitive tasks.
• Participating in processes throughout all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests
• Performing requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and integration for all platforms listed above.
• Providing direction and guidance to less experienced systems engineers.
• Responsibility for investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
• Providing IT Systems Engineering support on a wide range of technologies, including: VMware vCenter, Horizon View, Site Recovery Manager, HPAC Secure Printing, HP Blade Servers, HP SANs, Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Other tasks to include requirements specification, performance modeling, end-to-end functional analysis, cost estimation, and joint application design.
• Working on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, VMware products.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (Security CE and Computing Environment certification)
• One of the following certifications is required within six months of hire: MCSE - Microsoft Certified System Engineer, MCSE - Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, MCSA - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, MCITP - Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional, VMware VCP - VMware Certified Professional
• Travel up to 10%
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
• The person in this position must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Desired Qualifications:

• ITIL Foundations or later certification highly desired
• Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) as needed

Education Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years of related experience.

Years of Experience:

• 12 years w/ HS Diploma
• 8 years w/ Bachelor's Degree
