We are looking for a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior Platform Developer to join our team in providing unparalleled support to our customer. As a Sr. Developer, you would be responsible for developing tools and automation to eliminate manual functions and develop repeatable processes. Responsible for assessing existing platforms and designing a future state that includes a highly automated and stable environment

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Code development using Powershell, PowerCLI, Bash and/or JavaScript to create advanced scripts to support Infrastructure as Code
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation of current and future automation code
• Participate in the design, implementation, and management of workload automation initiatives
• Adhere to firm Change Management, Problem Management policies and familiarity with ITIL or other formalized IT operations foundations
• Writing SOPs to support understanding of code function
• Responsibility for investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel to better understand how to deliver code solutions in the Enterprise environment
• Participating in processes throughout all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests
• Other development duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec , CND or SSCP)
• DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire
• 5 years experience development in a Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, VMware environment
• Sedentary work
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

Desired Qualifications:

• Powershell, PowerCLI, Bash and/or JavaScript development experience in an Enterprise environment
• Excellent design, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows, Application knowledge of Java, .Net, and IT security
• Experience with configuring software defined networking and security configurations, including security groups and ACLs
• Experience with DevOps procedures and processes, as well as, with working in an Agile environment
• Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) as needed

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of relevant IT experience preferably with a STEM degree

• 5 years w/ Bachelor’s Degree
• 9 years w/ HS diploma
