Description
Acme Truck Line is a leading asset-based transportation and logistics company based in Gretna, LA. Acme primarily serves the Gulf Coast energy industry with a fleet of 1,100 trucks, 60 field offices, and 150 company employees.
The CIO will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for the company’s information technology (IT) functions. They will direct a staff (currently 3 employees and 2 contractors) in the development, implementation, integration, and management of the company’s information technology capabilities.

Requirements
Background Required:
Senior IT Executive (6 years)
Progressive responsibility in managing & directing IT operations
Oversight of a technical support staff
Bachelor’s Degree or sufficient related experience
Background Preferred:
Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (e.g. TMW Suite, McLeod, MercuryGate)
Experience with critical platform legacy migration projects
Advanced Degree or relevant credentials and certifications (PMP/CAPM, CISM/CRISC/CISSP, CompTIA)
Resides in Metro New Orleans Area
