**Description**

World Distribution Services (WDS), a World Group company, is hiring a motivated 2nd Shift Forklift/Reach Truck Operator to join our team and work in our brand-new warehouse and distribution center in Linden, NJ! This position will be Monday through Friday 4:15pm to 1:00am.

The Forklift/Reach Truck Operator safely and efficiently operates all forms of operations machinery including but not limited to: forklifts, reach-lifts and electric pallet jacks.

Candidates MUST have reliable transportation to and from work daily.

**Responsibilities:**

* Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner

* Unloads, palletizes, picks, and loads loose cartons

* Provides daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment as required

* Escalates equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator

* Unloads/Loads freight in a safe and effective manner

* Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity

* Performs cycle counting as required

* Communicates with others appropriately

* Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

* Previous recent experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach-lifts is required

* Warehouse experience

* Experience with warehouse management systems preferred

* Experience with warehouse RF equipment preferred

* Knowledge of safety regulations

* High School Diploma or GED required
