Job Description:

This position will be responsible for working closely with the maintenance department in staying compliant with OSHA standards and regulations. This position will also require the person to work closely with the safety department to achieve and reach the goals set forth by the safety manager. While most of the time this position will be working with the maintenance department, it may entail working with drivers and any other employees that are necessary to achieve goals in safety. This will include weekly walk-throughs at all of Ace’s facilities, monthly maintenance safety meetings, training all maintenance employees on shop equipment as well as helping to develop and update training policies and procedures. Must be willing and obtain a 30-hour OSHA training and other training courses as needed. Must be willing to obtain additional supervisor training including classes from the University of Utah.
