Why you want to work for our Product Management team:

Within our Product Management team, you will be involved through the entire lifecycle of our products. The team supports our customers drive the future set and functionality to help them manage their physical resources. We are customer centric in ensuring our products deliver value in every aspect.

The Director of Product Management is responsible for supervising the management of multiple product lines, increasing profitability of existing products, and developing new products based on market requirements. This person in this position must drive the strategic and tactical direction of their product portfolio in order to achieve the company’s overall strategic goals. The person in this position will also develop a team of Product Management and Business Analyst professionals, and will play a leading role in transforming our product management, design and delivery into a lean, rapidly iterative, customer-centric machine.

Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills are imperative for success in this role. Additionally, this role will require in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to effectively work with customers and internal teams to capture business requirements for product lines. This global role can be based in the following locations: UK, Netherlands, and US East Coast and reports directly to the Senior Director of Product Management.

How you'll make a difference

  • Drive product vision, strategy and roadmap for a suite of products, and secure buy-in at Executive and staff level.
  • Lead a team of product managers that manages the development of the product roadmaps, functional requirements, and product positioning and success of the product.
  • Interact with customers, sales, development, and product marketing to define product roadmap requirements and communicate the roadmap to the rest of the company.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Support groups.
  • Develop strategies to drive adoption and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Harvest and propagate best practices within Product Management and stakeholder teams; identify ineffective or inconsistent practices for corrective action.
  • Coach and develop individual product managers.
  • Drive customer engagements through customer advisory boards, conferences and other events.
  • Define learning objectives and training plans to be addressed.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • An advanced degree in Business and/or Computer Science
  • 10 years of experience in B2B enterprise software applications
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and articulate product strategy that focuses on opportunity, and differentiators that can enable Accruent to deliver unique value to the market.
  • Demonstrated passion for developing great people and ability to lead strong teams to ambitious goals
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers to evangelize a product and drive consensus around a supporting feature set at an Executive and staff level
  • Ability to work with other departments (Development, Marketing, PS, Sales, Executive Team) to successfully drive product delivery to ensure market and customer objectives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Ability to travel 20-40%

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience implementing Pragmatic Product Management principles
