Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Columbus OH 100% onsite
Pay Range: $20 to $25 p/h w-2
12 month contract
What’s the Job?
- The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for preparing, posting, verifying and recording customer payments and transactions to the accounts receivable.
- Maintains and updates customer files, including billing contact information.
- Works closely with the collection team to identify and clear past due accounts.
- Creates reports regarding status of customer accounts as requested.
- Assists in reconciling general ledger and customer accounts monthly.
- Investigates and resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions in a timely manner.
- Identifies problems and inconsistencies within the accounts receivable process and recommend appropriate corrective procedures.
- Monitors credits on accounts and posts them in a timely fashion.
- Supports with other related duties as needed.
What’s Needed?
- 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience with SAP, or similar system preferred
- Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile data and analyze variances
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.
- Travel when required
