It's an exciting time to be joining IRIS Software and we're delighted to be hiring an Accountant to support a busy finance team at AccountantsWorld by IRIS. AccountantsWorld and IRIS partnered in 2021 to revoultionize the Accounting profession with its leading software.

IRIS are expanding its operations across the US (organically and via acquisition) and as such our North American employee population has doubled in size over the last 12 months.

The role will include the below as well as support on exciting acquisition projects. Great opportunity to develop your Accounting career.

Accounts Receivable

• Create invoices and respond to customer billing inquiries
• Collect funds for declined transactions
• Process refunds/adjustments
• Make deposits and record all cash receipts
• Daily cash reconciliation
• Respond to credit card chargebacks

Accounts Payable

• Post bills and make payments in a timely manner
• Maintain vendor accounts
• Review and analyze account expenses

Additional Tasks

• Bank account reconciliations
• Post Journal entries
• Assist with monthly accruals and closing process
• Other accounting-related duties as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and spreadsheets
• Proficient computer skills, including Quick Books or other accounting software, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills;
