Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Hours: M-F 8:30 am to 5 pm
Rate of Pay: 15.50-16.50/hr
This position requires a high level of organizational skills and accuracy. There are multiple tasks involved with this position. The ideal candidate must be able to accurately input information, manage data-bases, and perform mail merges. They will also be responsible for filing, organizing charts, answering phones and utilizing Outlook calendar. This position is a very fast paced position and requires excellent customer service skills to respond to the needs of the people we serve and our staff. The person must be able to effectively manage high stress situations. Multitasking is essential. This role will support our PROS staff.
In this position you will:
-Answer and screen calls
-Assist employees, visitors, and serve as back-up receptionist
-Type memos, minutes, and reports
-Complete data entry, filing, and scheduling
-Track items for follow-up
-Perform Mail Merges
-Order office supplies
-Possess Microsoft Suite skills
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Requires a minimum of 2 years of related office experience
-Working with disabled population is a plus
-Strong computer skills
-Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
