Accenture Federal Services is Hiring a Systems Engineer Near Columbia, MD
Job Description:
AFS is seeing multiple Systems Engineers to be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the IT systems for the client. Duties include designing the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, establishing networking rules for cybersecurity and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues to support the help desk.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4 years of professional experience in systems engineering, software development
- 2 years of professional experience with SQL, Microsoft Windows Server, and general software development processes and management tools
Desired Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Able to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly to non-technical customers
- Ability to interface with Government personnel
- Desire to learn new technologies and willing to share knowledge with the team
Security Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
