Job Description: 

• Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for classified information systems in the DoD Intelligence Community
• Perform system categorization, security control selection, control implementation, security assessment, and continuous monitoring activities IAW NIST SP 800-37 Rev 1
• Utilize assessment tools (i.e. eMASS) for certification and accreditation (C&A) activities
• Produce DoD RMF ATO Packages; develop and maintain C&A documentation (SSP, SAR, RAR, SCTM, etc.)
• Create, track, modify, and perform remediation activities for POA&M items
• Provide IA support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of information systems under purview
• Advise senior management and customer on IA topics

Here's what you need:

• Active Top Secret SCI clearance
• 3 years experience performing RMF activities
• 2 years of experience running and interpreting scans from Nessus/ACAS, Retina and other system scanning tools
• Previous experience working as a security professional in a SCI environment
• Must have at least one of the following certs: Sec , CAP (IAM I 8570 Role)
• Cloud certification (MS AZ, AWS, etc.) preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly to semi-technical customers. Ability to interface with seasoned Government personnel.
• Ability to work in a matrixed team environment and support multiple different efforts as needed.
• Desire to learn new technologies and tools and willing to share your experience with the team.
• Experience accrediting systems in a cloud environment.
• Experience leading an accreditation effort.

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $90,700 - $147,100 

Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100

New York City: $105,000 - $147,100 

Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
