Accenture Federal Services - National Security Portfolio is Hiring a Technical Program Manager Near Columbia, MD

Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong business analysis and customer engagement skills, and management and leadership acumen in support of an AWS cloud-based network ecosystem involving Linux and Microsoft services. This position will direct a team that engages with customers of a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) service environment to assess, document, and elaborate their business requirements. This position will not only help direct the larger team's Cloud Architecture efforts but will also help with hands-on designing of cloud architecture when possible. The ideal candidate likes to be hands-on, accountable, and innovative; is comfortable in both technical and business requirements meetings and conversations; and wants to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development in a rapidly scaling PaaS environment supporting important customer missions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management oversight on execution of tasks and deliverables 
  • Communication with COR and CIO 
  • Delivery of Deliverables, including monthly status and financial reporting 
  • Financial management of Team AFS contract and subcontracts 

Here's what you need:

  • 3 years of experience with the following:
    • Managing a team of technologists
    • Engaging with high-level government stakeholders and technical advisors
    • Linux AND Windows systems experience
    • Technical cloud support experience
  • DOD 8570 - IAM III requiring one or more of the following:
    - CISM
    - CISSP (or Associate)
    - GSLC
    - CCISO

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Design or related field
  • Cyber security/IA certification (CompTIA Security , CISSP, CISM)
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts

Security Clearance:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $122,600 - $198,800 

Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700 

New York City: $141,800 - $198,800

Washington: $160,500 - $182,800
