acceldata.io is Hiring a People Operations Manager - US Near California, CA

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to join our US team in our mission to scale Acceldata and build upon our foundational infrastructure that will enable scalable and efficient hyper growth. This role reports into the VP of Finance & Operations and currently doesn’t have direct reports. Regular presence in the Campbell office expected. This role will support Acceldata USA, will build and lead the HR function of Acceldata USA, will partner with all our teams in the US, partner with our management team and collaborate with our global teams.

As a key member of the management team, this role will establish and manage all People Operations and activities in the US, while working cross-functionally with the teams across Acceldata globally. Key role in facilitating a world-class, engaged, healthy, diverse and highly connected team from onboarding through the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate for this position welcomes the challenge of fostering an inclusive and energetic team culture with strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, can build trust and confidence with all levels and is comfortable addressing and resolving conflicts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead HR administration along the entire employee lifecycle.

  • Lead full cycle recruiting effort from sourcing, interviewing, selection and offer through onboarding.
    Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience.

  • Plan, develop, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support HR compliance.

  • Lead annual performance reviews and train managers in best practices.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all HR systems and platforms.

  • Perform exit interviews and collect data to maintain high employee retention rates.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and best practices.

  • Develop and implement HR Policy, ensure Employee Handbook updates in compliance with local laws and statutory regulations.

  • Collaborate with Finance on compensation targets and incentive programs.

  • Conduct research to create best practices and world class work environments.

  • Collaborate with international colleagues on various projects.

  • Collaborate with VP of Finance & Operations to understand how the company’s strategy and culture relates to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

  • Be a culture champion - drive and implement culture initiatives to enhance world-class employee experience.

  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5-8 years leading HR Operations in a hyper growth, venture backed and multinational B2B software startup
  • Current SHRM designation or equivalent experience preferred
  • High level of fluency in HR systems and platforms
  • Experience applying HR policies, fair labor laws, and employee relations protocol
  • Knowledge of employment laws, EEOC Requirements, STD/FMLA, Reasonable Accommodation, FLSA/wage-hour laws
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, with an emphasis on timely, clear and sensitive responses to internal customers
  • Able to build trust and confidence with all levels and is skilled in addressing and resolving conflicts
  • Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems, comfortable with a high degree of responsibility in ambiguous situations
  • Thrives in a fast-changing work environment under tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and completeness
  • Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • Experience working in a global environment a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
