ACA is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near New York, NY

The Opportunity:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting and identifying opportunities to sell ACA Group (“ACA”) products and services. The individual in this position is talented, competitive, thrives in a quick sales cycle environment, and will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives.


What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with sales leadership and maintain strong working relationships with other sales team members.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with prospects and clients to encourage trust and loyalty.
  • Create prospecting plans to develop leads and referrals.
  • Conduct outreach and follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
  • Understand and answer questions related to our products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and other relevant sales collateral to move sales opportunities to the next stage.
  • Use excellent oral communication and best sales practices when interacting with prospects and clients.
  • Achieve monthly goals and objectives set by leadership.
  • Develop and continuously improve sales skills to increase conversion and success rates.
  • Successfully complete internal training programs with intention and desire to transition to outside sales.


To qualify for the role you must have:

  • 1 years of experience in lead generation or commission-based sales.
  • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques.


Ideally, you will also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred – major or concentration in business, finance or related field preferred.
  • Proficient or willingness to become proficient in the use of Salesforce or other CRM tools to assist with prospecting, tracking leads, and pipeline management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet preferred.
