We are seeking a passionate, responsible, warm and nurturing individual who is interested in working with Hospice patients. You must have prior experience with Hospice or Palliative care. If you are an energetic self-starter that is capable of quickly learning the necessary skills then you are the ideal candidate for us. The successful candidate will be required to work with our Hospice patients, participate in their care and be able to provide emotional support to them and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and physical care to the terminally ill or elderly.
• Qualify for a state license or certification.
• Conform to state and federal regulations.
• Be knowledgeable of emotional support and physical care for the terminally ill or elderly.
• Report any irregularities to health care provider.
• Maintain records and complete daily activity logs.
• Stay in communication with nurses, doctors, and other health professionals.
• Participate in any training and education programs in order to provide the highest level of care possible in a hospice setting.
