The General Accountant is responsible for assisting the accounting group with the maintenance of the general ledger and provides support to the rest of the department.

• Maintaining general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assisting in auditing financial documents and procedures
• Manage cash applications to enforce internal controls
• Organize and update financial records
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors
• Provide assistance to the AP and AR teams
• Protect company assets
• Other duties as required

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Position additionally requires excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze financial data and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Excel, MS Office and Accounting Software is required. Preference will be given to candidates with SAP experience
