Resident Care Coordinator will be responsible for the flow of resident services; physical, The clinical and psychosocial well-being. This includes all duties as a Resident Assistant II along with mentoring new staff and general oversight of staff and operations on the designated shift.
Responsibilities: In conjunction with the job description for Resident Assistant II
Resident’s Rights
Assure all staff are respecting resident right’s through oversight of cares
Report concerns to Administrator
Provision of Personal Care
Assure resident cares are completed according to ISP’s
Assure updated ISP’s are read and signed
Medication Assistance as followed by community policy
Check in medications
Audit medication cart
Assure shift completes any dietary needs assigned
Assure dining room clean and ready for next meal
Report resident well-being changes to Administrator or delegate
Serve as mentor to new staff
Possess and practice communication skills to manage staff
Communicate staff performance to Administrator
Assist in the reviews of employees on his/her shift
Competency in professional documentation
Competency in operations of office equipment including laptops, fax machine, and phones
Qualifications:
Worked 2 or more years as a Resident Assistant or Shift lead
Positive performance reviews
Possess skills in oral, written and verbal communication in a leadership roll
Attend at least four (4) hours annual in-service training in leadership/management techniques
