Able2 has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Finance department.
This position is Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm and the pay range is $17.00 to $18.50 per hour.
Duties and responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable includes:
- Coding invoices accurately with proper accounts and departments.
- Reviews, prepares and verifies source documents prior to A/P processing.
- Disburses office petty cash, records entry, verifies documentation, maintains an accurate ledger and completes petty cash reimbursement.
- Process client accounts payments
- Assist with payroll functions as needed.
- Provides monthly invoice accruals for month-end financial statements.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the finance office software and current procedures on all A/P functions.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years prior experience in accounting/business office. An Associate's Degree in accounting or related field is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficient in the use of a Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn Accounting functions.
- Possess a valid driver's license, and possess reliable transportation.
