Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Full Stack Developer on a long term contract providing Cyber Security services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to provide security services and capabilities necessary to ensure IT services provided to the IC customer workforce are secure. This includes Identity and Access Control Infrastructure Operations, Cross Domain Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Security Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Security Operations, Information Technology (IT) Audit Infrastructure, and Security Infrastructure Operations.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements secure solutions that meet customer requirements 
• Assumes a technical role in the administration and management of infrastructure solutions that are deployed in AWS in accordance with Security Guidelines
• Uses AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) to deploy, troubleshoot and customize cloud resources 
• Designs, customizes, and documents services based on COTS products using Agile development approaches and methodologies 
• Installs, configures, maintains and supports applications and servers 
• Performs operating system and software installation, testing, patching and upgrades 
• Monitors the Heath of internal environment and connections 
• Researches new technologies that are applicable to current projects and make recommendations to improve performance, optimize operations, and reduce costs 
• Assists with AWS technical designs and documentation

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI poly

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, or any related field 

• Minimum of 7-10 years relevant technical experience 

Required Certifications:

• DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification

Desired Certifications:

• AWS or other Cloud Based Certifications 

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following languages: Go, Node.js, Python, PowerShell, or Ruby 
• Experience managing enterprise scale solutions that leverage the following AWS Services:
  • Required: Lambda and S3
  • Desired: EC2, CloudFormation, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudWatch, Beanstalk, etc. 
• Knowledge of AWS user, security, and networking configurations 
• DevOps experience work within Sprint and Increment Planning 
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Git and Confluence 
• Ability to understand requirements (user stories) received and plan a workable solution that meets the customers need 
• Experience scripting against AWS CLI & strong debugging experience 
• Understanding the needs for new initiative to build scalable, distributed, and high-performance cloud environment 

Desired Skills: 

• Experience integrating and configuration FIDO/MFA/time based authentication 
• Experience developing custom visualizations and dashboards 
• Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate technical system status, concepts, and proposed solutions to the customer 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present in a group setting 
• Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work as an individual as well as with a team for supporting the overall project planning, integration, and implementation 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time 
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer 
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 
• Must be able to detect information on a computer screen
