IT Software Asset Manager and Vulnerability Analyst at Abel Personnel's Client
Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for asset management and vulnerability analysis? Abel Personnel is seeking a highly skilled IT Software Asset Manager and Vulnerability Analyst to join our client s team based in Harrisburg, PA. This role is crucial in managing the organization's hardware inventory, software asset portfolio, and addressing associated risks. The position is full-time and requires residency in Pennsylvania.
What You ll Be Doing in This Role:
Lead the IT Software Asset Management team, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts, optimal licensing structures, and proactive risk management.
Oversee software asset lifecycle and hardware inventory, providing detailed analysis and reports to drive business decisions.
Conduct thorough licensing compliance analyses to mitigate financial risks and optimize spending.
Perform patch management, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
Support the Enterprise Security Office with Nessus scanning and vulnerability management.
Develop and maintain executive reports and dashboards on IT assets for key decision-makers.
Maintain accurate documentation and audit responses, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with asset owners and teams to ensure the accuracy of inventory and license data.
Participate in external and internal audits, addressing compliance inquiries.
You re Probably a Match If You Have:
A Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
2-4 years of experience in enterprise asset management tools, IT operations, contract management, or compliance.
Strong experience managing IT asset lifecycles, ensuring compliance with software licensing.
Proficiency with vulnerability management tools, such as Tenable-Nessus, and in-depth knowledge of patch management.
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and audits.
Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and asset management tools.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach to work.
