Position Summary
The LPT is responsible for the assessment, plan and overseeing the medical and/or psychiatric management of the client coordination with the clinical director. This position also provides input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan. The LPT functions under the guidance of their State Licensure in accordance of State and Federal regulations. The LPT oversees the medical care and psychiatric needs of clients and will be responsible for performance improvement activities. The LPT will participate in activities during and in preparation for all accreditation, licensing, or other surveys. The LPT must have an understanding of poly-substance abuse, insurance documentation, and utilization review management. Must have current state licensure and have in-depth knowledge of the residential concept of treatment.
