Abacus Technology is seeking a Web Developer to provide software support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) at Quantico. This is a full-time position.
Modify existing source code for web applications to add enhancements, fix problems, and make changes to ensure compatibility with current security and other configuration requirements. Design, build, test, implement, and maintain software applications for AFOSI. Support testing in the development environment and move applications into the production environment when approved. Provide technical guidance regarding application development. Ensure all code is written to be compliant with all pertinent DoD security guidelines.
5 years experience in full stack application development including at least 3 years with the following languages: PL/SQL; JavaScript (JS); Java; C#; Classic .ASP; ASP.NET; .NET MCV; HTML/CSS. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be Security certified (or hold a similar certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II). Experienced in setting up and using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE. Experience using SQL management tools like TOAD and SQL Management studio. Experience in using Databases based on both MS SQL 2019, and Oracle 19 or older. Thorough knowledge of: database management (troubleshoot database tables and create new tables); application administration (i.e., updates, STIGS, code review/coding, change requests); and data migration. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently and with a team. Must be a US citizen and hold a Top Secret clearance.
