Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Program Manager to maintain overall responsibility for the business development and management related to an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle in support of the Department of State. This position will work hand-in-hand with field managers and corporate executives to maximize contract efficiency and target growth opportunities. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Government’s single point-of-contact and provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the IDIQ and active TOs. Provide overall coordination and management of the IDIQ contract. Maintain responsibility for all requirements under awarded TOs.

Qualifications

10 years progressive experience within the government consulting industry. Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree desired. Must be PMP certified. Must be ITIL v3 certified; ITIL v4 certified a plus. Experience in leading and directing large scale government contracting programs. Proven experience in pursuing and capturing new federal business, including building and leveraging relationships, developing effective teaming and win strategies, and writing winning proposals. Extensive knowledge of the IT strategy and services marketplace across the Federal government. Must be technically literate in Abacus’ core competencies including network operations, information assurance, engineering, and management services. Capable of interacting with SMEs for the purposes of program planning and evaluation. Understanding of the current IT and contracting standards as well as trends prevalent within the Federal government. Demonstrated experience in working, managing, and competitively winning large scale government contracting programs. Excellent management capabilities and a thorough knowledge of project life cycles. Solid communication and relationship building skills are required. Must be quality focused and have a proven track record in outstanding customer service. Experience working for a prominent consulting firm strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as proven relationship building skills. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
