Overview

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the Credit, Collections, Billing, and Cash Applications process. Manager assists with standardization of processes, implements best practices, and drives desired company metrics with a team of four. Needs to understand the State of Texas lien laws. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Credit, Collections, Billing, and Cash application team. 
• Oversee employee needs to include coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and disciplinary action. Provide input into hiring, terminations, compensation, and promotion decisions. 
• Quickly work with operations to resolve customer concerns. 
• Responsible for the timely processing of customer payments and invoices. 
• Responsible for the analysis, reconciliation, and collection of accounts receivable and cash receipts. 
• Know and follow the State of Texas lien laws. 
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines as assigned.
• Assist in month end closing. 
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• This person will be responsible for a team of at least 4 people. 

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• Bachelor's degree 4 year preferred. 
• Five (5) years work experience in high-volume accounts receivable 
• Two (2) years supervising or leading a team
