SummaryTravel: Possible 15 days annually Job Description This position will be a key contributor in the FP&A Department and will help develop the organization’s financial results analysis including providing in-depth budget variance and trend analysis, and other key financial reporting. In addition, with the involvement of business unit leaders, this position will support the annual business planning, operational planning, and operating budget development, along with mid-year business review analysis, 3-year financial forecasts and other similar type analysis. S/he will help develop and provide financial consulting and strategic support to segment and divisional management including accessing data from financial systems to allow data-driven decision making, expense and financial control improvements, post-event and campaign financial analysis, pricing support, and decision support modeling of new business opportunities. This position will serve as the Adaptive/Workday system SME and prepare and distribute financial reporting to the operating portions of the business to support their understanding of the financial results. Specific aspects would include: Annual Operating Budget, Quarterly and 3-year forecasts. Analysis of monthly operating results vs. budget and prior year. Periodic data and business analysis and Adaptive reporting to support operating divisions. Ad hoc data and financial analysis to support data driven business decision making and analysis. Support for periodic reporting of results to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders. Cost/benefit, pricing, and other decision support functions. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred. At least four years directly related experience. Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills. Superior communication skills, ability to effectively collaborate with divisional leadership and at all levels in the organization. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Workday ERP system, Adaptive Planning tool and/or Power BI systems helpful. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. Customer service skills, confidentiality, superior strategic thinking and financial analysis, well-developed problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail required. Capability to work under pressure and deadlines, ability to prioritize workflow and handle multiple tasks; and ability to work independently with minimal direction. Experience in Non-Profit Professional Association helpful.
