We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, upbeat Administrative Assistant / Telemarketer to join our team! You will perform administrative duties in addition to performing outbound phone calls to our existing subscribers to verify and update the information we need to mail them our publication and send them our digital enewspaper. Information that needs to be verified includes their full name, business name, job title, mailing address, email address and phone number.

Other related clerical/administrative job responsibilities are also a part of the daily workflow of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a database of 12,000 magazine subscribers by ensuring we have the correct information to mail them our magazine and send them our daily enewspaper.
• Spend an estimated 7 hours each day calling and emailing our subscriber customers to verify information. These are not sales phone calls.
• Research subscriber business relocations (when a company moves to a new location) with the United States Postal Service and update our database with new address information.
• Research subscribers' current job status and replace subscribers who no longer work at a company with new employees information who are now in the previous subscriber's role.
• Contact advertising customers to inform them of when their advertising materials are due, so we can place those advertisements inside our magazines, enewspapers and website.
• Draft correspondences and other formal documents as needed
• Plan and schedule appointments and events as well as travel to trade shows to man our booth exhibit.
• Answer inbound telephone calls
• Develop and implement organized filing systems
• Perform all other office tasks as needed.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced skills with Excel.
